Yes this is actually a blog post! I have no excuse for being so absent from regular blog posts other than the usual life business… Two kids, one dog, one husband and our new house… Yes we finally broke ground and should be living in our new house by the end of the summer, yippee!

I have been making a bigger effort to document the everyday of our lives because it really does feel like it’s zooming by. I keep catching myself talking about my kids and realizing that they are older in real life than they are in my brain! It’s so hard to accept that I have to shop in the little kids section for Stella, she is too big for the baby section now :(

Here she is in her absolute FAVORITE outfit of all time her “pen-go jammies” (that’s how she likes to say penguin pajamas). I LOVE footie-pj’s so much, I will be really sad when she outgrows them and decides she is too big for them. Callum announced that he was too old for them when he was three so I really hope she likes them for awhile longer… Her little mischievous smile on the left just kills me

Callum is a very active four year old and unfortunately has a habit of being up very early in the morning! Some days he is up at 6:00am, but he clearly needs more sleep because those days this is what he looks like at 6:00pm right in the middle of our dinner… He looks so sweet when he is sleeping.

I love that these photos are just everyday images but I know they will be treasured just as much as our professional images will be. So don’t forget to get your camera out and document the everyday, it really is worth it.
